The Mothers' Nest invites you to join us for our first ever Nest Night! We know a common feeling when dealing with maternal mental illness is feeling alone. We want you to know you aren't alone. We will be sharing ways to remind ourselves that we really aren't the only one who has experienced this, or had those thoughts.
This is a free event, but donations to The Mothers' Nest is always welcome. We are a judgement free zone, so come as you are. Please recognize that we do not replace your doctor or therapist. Babies in arms are welcome, but please leave older children at home as our space does not offer the space needed to accommodate them. Our goal is to have child care available for these events in the future.
This event is held in the basement of the south building in Westside Medical Center. Enter through the door next to the pharmacy, turn right off the elevator or stairs and then turn right again. We are in the middle of the hall by the bathrooms. The address is 1471 N 2000 W Clinton Utah.
*Part of this meeting we want to anonymously share your experience with maternal mental health. If you feel inclined, please message us a short paragraph of what you went through. We will not be sharing names, just the journey in solidarity with one another. This is not required for attendance.
We are ready to soar in 2018. We want to share with you our vision for the year and listen to your suggestions and comments on how to make that a reality. We see this as an opportunity to have open dialogue with those who support our vision so we can make it happen.
We plan to have a list of needs missing within our organization with the hope you can help fill them. *please note, we run on a volunteer basis at this time.
Also, you will be the first people to see our short video about TMN before we launch it online. #winning
Light refreshments will be served.
The event will be help at 1407 N 2000 W in Clinton. Go through the front doors by the pharmacy, down the elevator, turn right off the elevator and another right down the hall. We will have signs as it is somewhat confusing.
